Diablo 3 is not even a month old yet and hackers in Korea have already discovered the first item duplication hack (also known as item duping) which prompted Blizzard to take the Korean servers offline. Seeing as how Blizzard will soon be opening the new real world money auction house features, the item duplication exploits represent a major threat to the new gaming economy. In related news Blizzard has also recently issued a warning aimed at players using hacks, cheats, and bots. Blizzard stated on their website blog that any players caught hacking or cheating would have their accounts supsended or banned.
